About Us

Dr. Angela Collymore-Slovak, Ph.D.

Founder of the OKC Health and Wellness Group, Ltd.

Dr. Slovak is a research scientist with an extensive professional background in research and development, specifically in vitro diagnostics. Angela has a doctorate in Biomedical Sciences, with emphasis in human cellular physiology, from OSU and a B.S. in Cellular & Molecular Biology from SDSU, San Diego, CA. She is an Adjunct Professor of Life Sciences for local community colleges that include OSU-OKC and Rose State College Health Sciences Center.

The OKC Health and Wellness Group, Ltd. was established in February 2010 as a nonprofit organization that delivers educational forums to the public and networking opportunities for businesses that promote healthy living.

Vicki Latham, PA-CR

Vicki Latham, a graduate of Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center (1992). Prior to becoming a physician’s assistant, Vicki worked as a Childbirth Educator and Woman’s Health Practitioner in New Mexico. Vicki has a broad background in health care starting with the Hasting Indian Hospital, Tahlequah, OK: Internal Medicine and Emergency Department. Vicki then moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma Medical Center at the Payne County Health Department, Women’s Clinic. She has worked with Dr’s C & W Hardin for several years at the Cimarron Women’s and Internal Medicine Clinic, but much of her time has been dedicated to the OSU Student Health Center Women’s Clinic as a Women’s Health Practitioner. Most recently Vicki has joined the Associates of Medicine in Stillwater with Dr. John Williams.

Dr. Ryan Hanson, DC

Dr. Ryan Hanson is a devoted third generation chiropractor who has experienced the lifelong benefits of chiropractic care since birth. He is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and did his pre-med studies at Tulsa University. He graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas and has extensive training in pediatrics and spinal regeneration.
He is married with twin boys. Dr. Ryan joined Maximized Living in 2007 and was appointed a spot on the Wellness Advisory Council in 2009. Maximized Living became the Official Wellness and Chiropractic Partner for the USA Judo, USA Wrestling, and USA Weight Lifting teams of America.

Dr. Ryan delivers a holistic, whole athlete/patient approach to wellness that incorporates the chiropractic principles, balanced nutrition, mental preparedness and exercise programs for building strength, speed and endurance on the mat and in life.

Dr. Ryan operates the only Maximized Living office in Oklahoma which has a network of 375 top Chiropractors in the world. Dr. Ryan's office is the largest practice in the state with patients driving from several states away to seek care. He travels the world training and learning the latest information to share with his patents and to ensure that the patients under his care have the best opportunity to live the life that they are meant to live.

Keith D. Bishop, Clinical Nutritionist, B.Sc. Pharmacy

By training, Keith is a pharmacist and owned a Medic pharmacy in Mustang for 15 years. He was the first recipient of the Oklahoma Pharmacist Association/ Dupont Pharma Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award in 1995. Keith has received additional training and certification in FirstLine Therapy, Phytomedicinals and Alternative Therapies, Applied Clinical Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Patient Care, Asthma Management, and Respiratory Disease Management. Keith is a member of the Association of Natural Medicine Pharmacists and Pharmacy Compounding Centers of America.

In 1998 Keith opened the Natural Care Solution. Keith and his team of health professionals offer expanded natural care services, FirstLine Therapy, tests, evaluations, massage therapy, and personal training. Keith writes special reports and books on the effects vitamins, minerals, herbs, diet and lifestyle have on cancer and the risk of cancer.
